Project overview
This project will seek to determine the effectiveness of ePortfolios in enhancing student learning, retention, and recruitment and as means of increasing community engagement.
Pebblepad is a web-based system which allows users to make and store records about learning, achievements and goals. Records or evidence collected over time can be used within a digital repository that can be created for variety of purposes including, assessment, appraisals, accreditation, advancement or simple story telling.

During 2008 the Centre for Learning and Teaching developed and piloted a six phase Major Course Review process. This process will be used when courses undergo a major review to determine their past and present effectiveness and to set future directions in the context of the mission and vision of the University and Faculty.

A number of lecturers at the Faculty of Business and Law have developed a ‘Student Progress Log’ (SPL) to support their teaching. The SPL enables students to submit their work online over a semester in a structured sequence of activities designed to build their theoretical knowledge.
