Workshops for the Course Management System (CMS)

The Course Management System (CMS) is a stand-alone database which populates the ECU online handbook and other core publications. The CMS is the definitive source of course and unit information at ECU. It is a workflow management system which monitors and promotes the development and management of quality courses as well as enabling access to information to comply with legal centralised reporting requirements to DEEWR.

Camtasia Workshops

Camtasia Studio is a desktop capture software designed for the preparation, development and distribution of lecture and training materials in a variety of different formats. Please note, Camtasia Studio is not MAC compliant.

Camtasia Studio is deployed to your ECU computer via Managesoft. CLT offers regular workshops for beginners as well as the more advanced user. The most recent version of Camtasia Studio is v.6 and more information may be accessed from the Techsmith website. Techsmith provide a comprehensive Learning and Support Centre including tutorials and documentation as well as a user-to-user forum.

The academic development team organizes a range of activities to support staff in their learning and teaching roles.

Any ECU staff member can attend academic development activities, unless they have been designed for a specific team of staff, or staff in a specific role.
