Educating for Sustainability
The United Nations has declared the decade from 2005 to 2014, the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. Of the many definitions of sustainability, one that seems to be universally accepted:Sustainable practices are practices that meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
