The purpose of this policy is to:
- establish the strategic role of postgraduate research scholarships in the further development of the higher degrees by research profile of the University; and
- establish the framework within which the Research Scholarships Officer administers the postgraduate research scholarship schemes; and specifies the procedures for the effective management of postgraduate research scholarships; and
- set out the responsibilities of the Research Scholarships Officer and how these relate to other areas of the University in securing and managing postgraduate research scholarships and associated funding. |
