Policy, Planning and Academic Support (PPAS)

Welcome to the Policy, Planning and Academic Support (PPAS) website.

Policy, Planning and Academic Support (PPAS) within G&PS provides a diverse range of services to the University's senior management, Faculties and Centres.

There are three functional groups within PPAS:

Policy and Planning, which provides:

• advice on general issues affecting the development and management of the University;
• environmental scanning, briefings, reports and discussion papers on issues impacting the University or its operating environment;
• advice on the University's academic profile; and
• guidance on university-wide planning.

Survey Services coordinates, monitors and maintains systems, policies and procedures to help assure the quality of ECU's teaching and learning outcomes.

Strategic Information Services manages ECU's statistics to meet internal and external reporting requirements and to improve information based decision making.
