Technology in Teaching and Learning

The Technology in Teaching and Learning (TTL) Program is a Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST)-sponsored initiative that has enabled staff at ECU to be innovative and progressive in their approach to teaching and learning. A main goal of the TTL Program is to enable and support individuals within ECU to successfully use technology in their teaching and learning.

To reflect the many and varied ways we use technology to support our teaching and learning tasks, the TTL Program has been designed as a multi-pronged approach. This approach addresses the many facets of our teaching:

• Technology in teaching and learning resources
• Teaching@ECU
• Geographical Information System (GIS)
• Exemplary use of Blackboard within units
• E-moderating course
• Technology offerings and quality

Each of these mini-projects firmly reflects ECU's strategic imperative to effectively use technology in teaching and learning.
