How to Edit a Wiki
- Access the wiki in your MyECU site. Where it is will depend where your lecturer or tutor has put it. A site wiki can be accessed via the Unit Tools link but a group or individual wiki could be anywhere in the site.
- Navigate to the page you wish to edit. A list of pages appears on the right hand side of the screen under Site Navigation.
- Click on Edit.

- If someone else is currently editing a page you will see the above message. Try again in a few minutes.

- Type your entry into the textbox.

- When you have finished you entry, click on Save which will add your page to the Wiki.
- Note that there are three icons for pasting text from the clipboard.

- a - Paste will paste the item with all the formatting from the original source.
- b - Paste Plain Text will paste text and remove any formatting.
- c - Paste from Word is designed for pasting text from Microsoft Word.
- These icons allow you add links, files and pictures to your wiki entry.
