Timed Tests/Quizzes and IE7

If you are off campus when taking a timed test in MyECU and you are using Internet Explorer 7, you should set your security options as follows:

1. Select Tools from the browser menu
   
2. Select Internet Options
   
3. Select the Security tab. 
4. click the "Internet" icon in the "Select a zone" box and then click the "Custom" box
5. When the "Security Settings" dialog box appears, scroll down to "Scripting" on the menu (it's fairly far down). Enable “Allow status bar updates via script.” Select OK.
6. You may receive a Warning. Please select "Yes"
7. click OK.
