Professor Ken Greenwood

BBSc(Hons) LaTrobe, DipCompSci LaTrobe, PhD LaTrobe, DPsych Swinburne

Professor Ken Greenwood is the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Health and Science and Pro-Vice-Chancellor: Engagement (Science, Technology and Engineering) at Edith Cowan University. He was previously the Head of the School of Psychology and Social Science at Edith Cowan University, and prior to that, Head of the School of Health Science at RMIT University. He worked in leadership positions at La Trobe University, the University of Canberra and RMIT University before coming to Edith Cowan University.

Professor Greenwood has worked as an academic all of his working life and contributed both as an educator and as a researcher. He has more than 120 publications in international journals and has been successful is having his work supported by grants from various bodies including the ARC and the NHMRC. He has taught extensively across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate subjects and across a range of content areas in his own discipline of psychology. He has been an active contributor in the development of new courses and in professional accreditation activities. He has been actively sought after as a supervisor of graduate students and has been involved in the supervision of more than 40 completed postgraduate students.

Professor Greenwood holds the degrees of Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours), Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and Doctor of Philosophy from La Trobe University and Doctor of Psychology from Swinburne University of Technology. He is a registered Psychologist with endorsements in Counselling Psychology and Health Psychology and a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the College of Counselling Psychologists and College of Health Psychologists.
