On Sunday, 6 September I had the pleasure of participating in the ceremonies at which almost 1,000 ECU students graduated.
A total of 505 graduates from the Faculty of Education and Arts and the Faculty of Computing, Health and Science crossed the stage at the afternoon ceremony. The evening ceremony saw 468 graduates from the Faculty of Business and Law receive their degrees.
Occasional speakers Senator Chris Back and Chief Executive Officer of the City of Stirling Mr Stuart Jardine both delivered inspiring speeches.
Graduating student speakers Miss Amber Grech and Ms Snezhana Torgasheva were also an inspiration, congratulating graduates on their achievements, and encouraging them to apply the knowledge and skills they have learnt at ECU to improve our communities.
The 'Toast to Graduates' following each ceremony was an excellent opportunity for graduates to celebrate with family, friends and ECU staff.
Thank you to all who contributed to the success of the day, particularly James Fuller and the Public and Corporate Relations team
