US Consul General to speak at ECU South West

Friday, 10 July 2009

It will be my great delight to welcome to our South West Campus, the US Consul General to Western Australia, Dr Kenneth Chern, to present a free public lecture entitled Australia, USA, China and the South West of Western Australia: the future.

Dr Chern will speak about US-Australian relations, and how the associated challenges and opportunities might relate to the South West region.

The event will take place from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on Thursday, 23 July and I encourage all staff who are in a position to attend to do so for what I am sure will be a very interesting and informative lecture.

Further information and registration details can be found at www.criticalhorizons.com.au/Seminars/US-Australia%20Relations
