Vice-Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Research

In my announcement in December congratulating the successful recipients of the 2008 Vice-Chancellors Staff Awards, I also advised that an award for Excellence in Research was to be announced in 2009. 

Recipients of this Award must demonstrate a high level of calibre in their commitment to ECU and I am pleased to announce the winner of the 2008 Vice-Chancellors Staff Award in the area of Excellence in Research is Professor Kamal Alameh. 

I congratulate Professor Alameh on this achievement.
