It is my great pleasure to inform you that Edith Cowan University has today been named in the Times Higher Education 100 Under 50 global rankings.
This is an influential list of the best universities under the age of 50. For ECU to be included in just its 24th year is a tremendous achievement and one which you should all be proud.
These rankings are particularly significant for us because the 100 Under 50 features the types of universities we should compare ourselves with: young, modern, innovative institutions.
This news comes just a day after the QS World University Rankings by Subject confirmed ECU was again named in the Top 200 for both Education and Communication and Media Studies. It is the third year in a row these ECU subjects have been included in the list.
Congratulations to each of you on these results. I look forward to working with you in the coming weeks and months to ensure ECU continues its rapid development.
