Login information for Callista
SMS
The first time you access Callista SMS, you will need to change
your current ADS password (the same one you use for Outlook and
web authentication) using the Central Authentication System
(CAS).
Login Instructions for First
Time Users of Callista
To access Callista SMS for the first time the steps are as follows:
- Access the CAS web page at: https://mylogin.ecu.edu.au
- Follow the instructions to change your ADS password. This may
take up to 10 minutes to take effect in Callista.This password
change will also effect the following systems:
- Outlook
- LAN login
- internet authentication
- Blackboard
- plus any system that uses ADS as authentication
- Access the Callista SMS home page at: http://callistasms.ecu.edu.au
(We recommend you save the Callista SMS homepage address in your
'Favourites'.)
- Click on the link 'Login for Callista' to take you to Callista
SMS.
- Log in using your ADS username and the password which you just
changed in CAS. Type in the database name 'calprod'.
To access Callista again, all you will need to do is access the
internet, click on the Callista SMS homepage link in your favourites,
click on 'Login to Callista', and log in.
Troubles logging in?
When
I click on 'Login to Callista' nothing happens.
Make sure you have the correct version
of Sun JRE v.1.6 installed on your computer.
Sun JRE v.1.6 has been remotely deployed to all SOE
machines by the IT Service Desk via ManageSoft. This should automatically
install the next time you log into Callista SMS.
