I'm trying to enroll in a subject, but the classes are are full - what can I do?
When enrolments open on SIMO for each semester and you find that all classes in your unit are showing as ‘full’, your options are:

  • periodically check SIMO to see if a vacancy shows, or
  • closer to the commencement of semester you can contact your Student Support Officer to find out if quotas are going to be extended, or
  • visit Student Central one week prior to commencement of a semester to obtain a Quota Override form. This form will need to be taken to the lecturer of the unit that is full to obtain approval and signature that you can attend the class, you must return the form to Student Central for processing.

I’m an internal student, can I select external or online units?
Internal students are able to select external units.

However, Education and Nursing students should contact their Student Support Officer before enrolling in any external or online units.
