Parents will need to contact the relevant centre for current fee enquiries as they can change up to twice a year.
The centres are approved childcare services, therefore the Commonwealth Government subsidises childcare for many of the children that attend. The level of subsidy is based on each family's eligibility and gross income.
If a family is eligible, the Commonwealth Government assesses the income through the Family Assistance Office and the centre applies a formula that provides the child's daily fee. Once a place is offered to a family it is advisable to talk to the centre's administration staff about this process. For more information, visit the Family Assistance Office website.
Public holidays are part of the weekly fee and all days must be paid for even if the centre is closed (except at the end of the year).
The centre usually closes for 3-4 weeks over this period. When this closure occurs, fees are not charged for the period of closure.
