Parking on ECU campus grounds requires a parking permit and is divided into several clearly identified zones (yellow, blue and red) which are outlined on our campus maps.

We encourage students and staff to source alternative, healthier and greener, travel modes to parking on campus. Our Travelsmart web page provides details of public transport routes, the Joondalup CAT bus and walking and cycling options. ECU also provides bike rails located within easy access to building entrances, lockable cages and lockers, as well as great end-of-trip facilities.

Parking at ECU is governed by the ECU Lands and Traffic By-Laws. Our Security and Traffic Services administer these by-laws by continually working towards ensuring information is provided to students, staff and visitors to make parking at University as easy as possible.

Student permits

When parking on University grounds on weekdays, between the hours of 8.00 am and 8.00 pm, you are required to display either a current valid parking permit or a valid metered parking ticket. Students wishing to park at ECU will need to purchase a Student (Red) parking permit. All ECU parking areas and bays are clearly marked.
