Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Virtual private network (VPN) is a technology that establishes a private or secure network connection within a public network, such as the Internet. A VPN connection is required to access resources that are restricted to ECU students and staff. A VPN lets you virtually plug your computer into the university's network. With a VPN active, it is as if your personal computer is locally attached to the university.
