Our services

The IT Services Centre provides a range of services to all staff and students, from day to day IT requirements like the wireless networks and service counters where you can ask for help, through to planning for the University’s future, and everything in between.

These pages will help you understand our services and where you can go to get more information.

Getting connected

Students and staff have access to free secured wireless networks on each of the ECU campuses. There are three wireless networks on campus which can be used to access to the ECU website, intranet and the internet. Visitors as well as students and staff are able to utilize the eduroam network.

Students, staff and cross institutional visitors wishing to use their personal laptops on-campus can connect to our wireless network anywhere, anytime.

Computing and printing on campus

ECU students have 24 hour access to on-campus computing facilities. Our e-Labs are an ideal place to finish assignments, carry out research and get online access to help with your studies.

As a staff member, or a postgraduate student studying at ECU, you have access to a range of services to help you with your desktop, notebook and tablet computing requirements.

Buying a computer or software

ECU staff and students are have access to a range of computer and software discounts.

Conferencing and collaboration

The IT Services Centre provides multiple technologies to enable staff to provide videoconference, teleconference, webinar or webcasts services.

Meeting, teaching and learning spaces

ECU has many unique and varied learning spaces across all campuses. Audio-visual equipment designed to enhance your teaching and learning experiences is available for use in meeting rooms, teaching and learning spaces on campus.
