Stronger Smarter Learning Communities Regional Research and Case Development

Stronger Smarter Learning Communities was a National Landmark Project which was funded by DEEWR between 2009-2013. The Project aimed for deep and significant impacts from a 'high-expectations' and relational approach to Indigenous education in a range of targeted school/community sites, each networked to others in their region and elsewhere across the nation.

Transformation of networked schools through the building of leadership capacity and sustainability of improved student outcomes within Indigenous communities were the twin goals of this Project.

ECU and Charles Darwin University formed a partnership, with Kurongkurl Katitjin leading and managing the Stronger Smarter Learning Communities Regional Partnership team for the Top End region.
