University ID card
Your student or staff University ID card (ECU ID) is used to borrow items from any ECU campus library.
Obtain your ECU ID by showing proof of enrolment or employment at the Multi Media Resources (MMR) desk. Activate your ID card at any ECU library Loans desk or MMR service desk.

Where to take your items to borrow
To borrow an item, take your wanted items and your ECU ID to the loans desk located inside each of the ECU campus libraries.
Returning your items
You may return borrowed items to any ECU campus library. Take your items to the returns chute located at each campus library.
Items can be returned seven days a week. After hours return chutes are located near the library entrances. Items returned within 15 minutes of library closing times will not be taken off your record until the next working day.

Please note that if another borrower requires an item you have borrowed they may recall it. You will then have to return the item earlier.
