Library Client Survey - your responses

Monday, 17 September 2012

According to the survey, our performance has continued to improve. We recorded an overall score of 79.5%, which is an improvement of 1.8% since the previous survey in 2010.

You rated the following categories as being of top importance, and rated our performance in these categories well:

  • Library staff treat me fairly and without discrimination
  • Library staff are approachable and helpful
  • Library staff provide accurate answers to my enquiries
  • Library staff are readily available to assist me
  • When I am away from campus I can access the Library resources and services need
  • Online resources (e.g. ejournals, databases, ebooks) meet my learning/research needs

You have told us that we need to:

  • Increase computer availability
  • Improve wireless access in the Library
  • Provide more silent study spaces
  • Provide more group study spaces
  • Improve the findability of items on Library shelves

This feedback is very important to us. We will continue to work to improve our services to you, with a particular focus in the areas you have identified. For example, at the end of this year, work will be done to convert room 306 in the Mt Lawley Campus Library into silent study space. We’ll let you know as more projects occur - watch this space!
