Council, Committee and Board elections

The University Governance Unit is responsible for coordinating elections for a number of positions on Council and its Committees and Boards. To find out more about a particular election, please consult the information below and click on the appropriate downloads for details.

In accordance with the TEQSA Provider Threshold Standards, Council members must be able to meet the requirements outlined in the Fit and Proper Person Declaration.

Current elections

Elections are currently being conducted for the following positions on University Council:

  • Alumni Member (x2)
  • Non-Academic Salaried Staff Member (x1)
  • Student Member (1x Undergraduate Student and 1x Postgraduate Student)

An information session about Council and the election will be hosted on Joondalup campus, with video-links to the Mount Lawley and Bunbury campuses on Thursday, 3 August 2017 from 12pm – 1pm in the following venues:

  • Joondalup Building 1 Room 447 (Council Chamber)
  • Mount Lawley Building 10 Room 306 (video-link)
  • Bunbury Building 1 Room 107 (video-link)
