Welcome to my website.

I am a Research Associate with the multi-disciplinary Edith Cowan University Centre for Ecosystem Management.

Professional Interests

My broad interests lie predominantly in Freshwater Ecology (Limnology) and Ecological Toxicology (Ecotoxicology).

Other interests also include:

•   Environmental effects of mining - assessment, mitigation and remediation

•   Ecotoxicology - the effects of toxicants and other stressors on aquatic ecosystems

•   Ecology of introduced aquatic species - their impacts on aquatic communities

•   Wetlands - as habitat for fauna and flora, and constructed wetlands as biological treatment agents

•   Human impacts/restoration - urban and rural impacts and their repair

•   Aquaculture - sustainable production of fisheries

•   Environmental education - things won't change if people don't change
