Manea Senior College partnership

Manea Senior College is the only campus dedicated entirely to Year 11 and 12 students in the South West Region and has approximately 300 students seeking direct entry into university, TAFE or employment.

Manea students have the opportunity to be simultaneously completing a TAFE and school or a university and school qualification alongside their secondary studies.

ECU has developed a relationship with Manea, allowing Year 12 (and, soon, Year 11) students to undertake a university preparation course that is delivered at ECU, by ECU staff, giving students access to some shared facilities, including the ECU library.

The relationship and educational precinct developed through the partnership is in line with the outcomes of the National Partnership on Youth Attainments and Transitions, which include increasing educational engagement and attainment of young people and improving their transition to post-school education.
