Course description
Focusing on the difficult debrief, this course will examine the common difficult debriefing situations and provide participants with the opportunity to practice strategies to manage the debrief.
Target audience
It is specifically tailored to meet the needs of simulation instructors/educators who feel comfortable running scenarios and debriefings.
Prerequisites
Ideally participants will have been using simulation methodology for at least one year.
Course format and duration
This one day uses a range of teaching methods including:
- didactic presentation
- reflective discussion
- role play
- live debriefings
- video-assisted feedback
