Let’sGO! Program

Let'sGO! (Let’s Get Online) is a program funded by AusIndustry and designed to assist small businesses to migrate their operations online. ECU's Small and Medium Enterprise Research Centre was funded to provide the program with the goal of delivering it to 350 small business owners in metropolitan WA and 150 small business owners in regional WA.

The program is delivered in two stages, starting with a two-hour seminar and followed by a two-hour interactive workshop.

The seminar is delivered by two experienced presenters: a web-based technical specialist and a marketing and social networking specialist. At its conclusion, participants are encouraged to register their attendance at a follow-up interactive workshop. The same presenters then conduct the workshops to address the issues brought to the event by the business owners.

The Let'sGO! program has been delivered in the metropolitan areas of Joondalup, Wanneroo, Stirling, Bassendean, Ellenbrook, Midland, Mount Lawley, Gosnells, Fremantle and Leederville. Regional areas gaining from this program include Bunbury, Carnarvon, Mandurah and the Peel Region, Esperance and Corrigin.

The program is the seventh AusIndustry training program delivered in partnership with ECU and builds on extensive research conducted by SMERC.

The program delivers benefits to small business owners by helping them gain awareness, knowledge and confidence about their role in the e-commerce market place. ECU benefits through its ongoing partnership with businesses, business associations and metropolitan and regional community partners, and AusIndustry has been able to promote and reaffirm its commitment to enhancing business in Western Australia in a tangible way.
