South West English Teachers’ Association Year 12 English Day
The South West English Teachers' Association Year 12 English Day involves Year 12 English students visiting ECU's South West Campus for one day to receive specific coaching in English.
The sessions are run by teachers and the examiners and develop links between ECU, local high school educators and potential students.
ECU provides the venue and additional activities, such as coaching on putting portfolios together as well as information sessions about career advice. This program is funded through Higher Education Equity Support Program funding and is designed to attract regional school leavers to ECU, while simultaneously providing a forum to support students approaching their Year 12 exams.
