Sustainability and the community
We have a strong commitment to linking our curriculum with awareness of sustainability, and have built an enviable record of research and education in this field.
Research areas include the interaction between ecology and human health, coastal, marine and estuarine ecology, natural resources modelling and simulation. This work is underpinned by community involvement and outreach, ECU researchers and educators working closely with other stakeholders for environmental and sustainability outcomes.
