Joondalup Community Legal Centre
Located on the Joondalup Campus, the aim of the Joondalup Community Legal Centre (JCLC) is to:
- make the law accessible to the communities of the northern suburbs; and
- provide an opportunity for law students within an academic program to gain experience and practical skills in the legal field and reach out to local communities.
JCLC also provides legal information and advice for the community in the areas of family and criminal law, domestic violence, tenancy, elder abuse and some areas of civil law. It provides an opportunity for students to gain practical experience in a real-world professional environment and to support the provision of a valuable service to the community.
