Media and Cultural Studies Major

Code: MAAAIW

Prepares students for future success in our media-driven environment, and allows them to examine the influence and power of media, and the forces that affect them.

The major introduces students to a significant range of contemporary theoretical and critical approaches used to analyse media texts, media technologies and their position in the world today. Students are trained to think critically and to communicate effectively.
