Combines the fundamental engineering disciplines of electronic systems and communication systems to provide students with skills in all aspects of analog and digital circuit design and communications systems development.
The major concentrates on the engineering principles required to analyse and solve problems related to the design and implementation of electronic and communication systems. Students gain in-depth knowledge of fundamental physical sciences, electronic circuits and systems, digital signal processing, power electronics, fibre optic and microwave communications, computer networking and cellular and wireless networks.
Good question. It's what other organisations ask our graduates every year....Find out more
It's how we discovered that the quality of teaching here is the best in Western Australia. Being rated 5 stars by our graduates for 11 years in a row confirms that.
It's also how we learned from QILT that we’re Australia’s top ranked public university for student satisfaction.
And it's how we know that we're one of the best young universities in the world under 50 years old.
So the real question is, why not choose ECU?
