ECU Counter Terrorism Security and Intelligence student

The lecturers at ECU are lifelong professionals who have extensive experience in the subjects they are teaching

During my study I've found that the lecturers at ECU are lifelong professionals who have extensive experience in the subjects they are teaching, rather than just an academic background. This makes the lectures very interesting, as we get to learn about real world issues and solutions. There are many opportunities for developing important contacts within the industry. Representing the university at two major industry conferences allowed me to develop critical networks in Federal and State law enforcement, and private industry.

  • Marcus Cosentino

    Marcus Cosentino

    ECU Biological Sciences graduate

My course allowed me to do things most people only dream about

Fieldwork is an important part of the Biological Sciences course. I was able to help with reptile surveys and research projects all over the state.

These opportunities took me to stunning areas of WA, including the Kimberley, and allowed me to get up close and personal with elusive species of native fauna that most people don't even know exist.
