    Encouragement from my lecturers has taught me not to underestimate myself

    I chose to study at ECU after it was recommended as a specialist university by friends who had recently graduated in Education. I was able to gain entry using a Cert IV in Business.

    My study experience at ECU has been very positive as my lecturers have been approachable and supportive.

    Every semester of my studies has resulted in at least two weeks of practical work placement. Each placement has built upon prior knowledge, leaving me excited about my future career.

    My course allowed me to do things most people only dream about

    Fieldwork is an important part of the Biological Sciences course. I was able to help with reptile surveys and research projects all over the state.

    These opportunities took me to stunning areas of WA, including the Kimberley, and allowed me to get up close and personal with elusive species of native fauna that most people don't even know exist.

    Since graduating from ECU, I've been able to secure a graduate position at one of the largest law firms in Australia, MinterEllison

    The focus of the Law degree at ECU is very practical. Some of my lecturers had held jobs in Parliament, ASIC, and the AAT, and were able to bring a very practical mindset to the units they taught, something I think is very important for those wishing to practice after they complete their degrees.

    My studies at ECU provided me with the essential framework to begin working in, and applying for corporate positions.

Course tuition fees can change, but we can give you an estimate of your costs. If you're eligible, a scholarship or student loan can help too.

Applying

Applying for a course is a fairly simple process, especially if you have scanned copies of qualifications, your resume or other paperwork, ready to upload.
