The theme for this year's event is Western Australian Female Firsts. Our panel of highly successful leaders will discuss their experiences, how far we've come towards achieving gender equality and ask what has changed since Edith Dircksey Cowan's foray into the political sphere.
Joining us on the panel are:
ECU's Vice-Chancellor Professor Steve Chapman CBE will also join the panel as a male champion for gender equality and a Workplace Gender Equality Agency Pay Equity Ambassador. Steve is the first male Vice-Chancellor to be the only male within the team of five WA Vice-Chancellors.
The official 2017 International Women's Day campaign theme is #BeBoldForChange. Please join us and celebrate the political achievements of these three women and hear what inspired and equipped them to Be Bold For Change.
