Publishing Your Research
There is increasing demand in Australia (and internationally) for HDR students to publish high quality research arising from their masters or doctoral thesis. This workshop will outline the benefits of publishing your research, examine the different forms and quality of publication, and explain the peer-review process. Strategies will be provided to help you produce high quality publications from your research.
The objectives are to:
- recognise the importance of publishing to enhance your writing skills and future career opportunities
- identify the different forms of publication relevant to your research and how the quality of these publications is determined
- discuss authorship issues and the peer review process
- provide strategies for producing high quality publications for your research
Registration essential and morning/afternoon tea provided
