The Australian Institute of Project Management (WA Chapter) will hold a one day conference on 15 August 2012 at Fraser's Restaurant, Kings Park, West Perth. The state Project Management Achievement Awards 2012 will be awarded during the lunch from 12:00noon to 2:00pm, sponsored by ECU's School of Management.

SCRAM is an interactive role play competition for Western Australian Year 9 & 10 high school students which facilitates the development of peaceful dispute resolution awareness and skills in secondary school communities.

CPA Congress is the largest annual gathering of finance, accounting and business professionals in the southern hemisphere, held in over eight Australian states and four international locations. The event is designed to enhance business performance and deliver competitive advantage, aiming at showcasing business concepts and innovations. ECU's School of Accounting, Finance and Economics will be participating as an exhibition sponsor at the 2012 event to be held 20-22 November.

Wanneroo Business Association Awards

The Satterley Property Group City of Wanneroo Business Awards were established in 2003 to recognize "Business Excellence" in the City of Wanneroo and are hosted by the Wanneroo Business Association. The awards showcase businesses who participate and entry is exclusive to businesses located in the City of Wanneroo. The Faculty of Business and Law at ECU sponsors the Home Based Business Award.
