Student prizes
Each year the Faculty of Business and Law recognises the outstanding achievements of our students through Student Prizes. Students who have won a prize are notified by the Faculty of Business & Law by the end of February each year and are invited to attend the Student Prize Night to receive their prize.

Awarded to the student with the highest average mark across both units CRI 2101 and CRI 2104 undertaken in their G81 or K16 degree.
Corrective Services Award for Academic Achievement/Excellence in Correctional Studies
Awarded to the student with the highest average mark for one of the following combinations: Law and Order (CRI 111) and Juvenile Justice (CRI 3103); or Law and Order (CRI 1111) and Community Corrections (CRI 3105). Where a student has studied all three units, the highest mark in CRI 3103 or CRI 3105 will be taken.

The McCusker Charitable Foundation
The McCusker Charitable Foundation Criminal Law Moot Prize
Awarded to the winning moot team in Criminal Law II. The moot is judged by a panel of legal practioners who decide what team wins. The prize is shared equally by the successful team (consisting of lead and junior counsel).
The McCusker Charitable Foundation Prize for Advanced Criminal Law
Awarded to the student with the highest grade in Advanced Criminal Law (LAW4206).
The McCusker Charitable Foundation Prize for Criminal Law Ethics and Justice
Awarded to the applicant with the highest awarded grade in a research symposium, addressing a research problem developed by the Trustees of the McCusker Charitable Foundation.

Awarded to the student with the highest mark in Management of Hospitality Finance (HOS3211).
The Tourism Council Western Australia
The Tourism Council Western Australia Award for Excellence in Tourism
Awarded to the graduating student who has exhibited the most commitment to the Australian tourism industry throughout the Bachelor of Tourism Management or the Bachelor of Business (Tourism Management).

WA Police Merit Award for Academic Achievement & Frontline Leadership
Awarded to one of the five eligible students in the C25 course with the highest weighted average mark after completing 120 credit points of academic study and who has demonstrated excellence in leadership as determined by the WA Police Academic Board of Studies.
