Research Colloquium
As part of ECU's Research Week, The Faculty of Business and Law will present an overview of research being undertaken by academic staff and postgraduate research students in the Schools of Management; Law & Justice; and Marketing, Tourism & Leisure.
The emphasis will be on key research themes across disciplines including the impact of the mining and resources boom, the industry-research interface and topical issues in the areas of criminology and justice with a focus on suicide prevention.
The Colloquium will comprise a mix of researcher presentations, panel discussions and guest speakers, amongst them Joshua Cunniffe, a WA Young Australian of the Year 2012 State Finalist, to give the audience a multi-faceted perspective on a range of contemporary issues of state, national and/or international interest and significance, now and into the future.
