A full house at the latest PGSB Leadership Seminar
Perth Graduate School of Business (PGSB) is attracting impressive numbers of students, staff and industry representatives to its dedicated events program, the PGSB Leadership Seminar Series. The series invites local leaders to share their expertise and advice with guests, with the latest seminar focusing on entrepreneurship.
‘Entrepreneurship: leadership in creating new enterprises’ was the second seminar in the series, following the successful inaugural event in March. Enthusiastic guest speaker, Mr Greg Riebe, addressed a room full of students, staff and industry contacts from as far away as Bunbury.
Mr Riebe is the Director of Entrepreneurs in Residence Pty Ltd. On the night, he shared his insights into identifying and building a portfolio of entrepreneurial ventures and opportunities, as well as outlining the personal qualities and characteristics of leaders and entrepreneurs.
He also explored his own journey with entrepreneurship, highlighting his successes and the lessons learned from his extensive experience in business.
The topic was well received and created much discussion afterwards during the networking session. Guests also enjoyed drinks and a light supper.
The next PGSB Leadership Seminar is on Wednesday 8 August with special guest, Mayor Tracey Roberts JP, Mayor of Wanneroo. She will discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with organisational growth.
