The Endeavour Awards aim to create international education links
The Endeavour Awards provides opportunities to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia and abroad. This internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program is available to both Australian and international applicants.
The Endeavour Awards are part of the Australia Awards, an Australian Government initiative announced by the Prime Minister in November 2009. Its purpose is to promote knowledge, education links and enduring ties between Australia and our neighbours through extensive scholarship programs.
Endeavour Executive Award
This award funds $18,500 towards professional development, for one to four months, and is designed for those wishing to develop or learn new skills in their area of expertise rather than further existing research interests and outcomes.
In consultation with a host organisation, the one to four month program may include activities such as a work placement, attendance at a conference, participation in a short course or peer-to-peer learning.
Applications for the 2011 Endeavour Executive Awards close on 31 January.
