90 seconds of fame competition
The Faculty of Computing, Health and Science, in association with The Gravity Discovery Centre and Scitech, would like to invite your school to participate in a 2012 National Science Week Competition called '90 Seconds of Fame'.
Science classes in primary and high schools across the Perth Metro are invited to create a video clip showcasing their science class conducting an experiment, summarising a science lesson or sharing a class project.
The purpose of this competition is to generate enthusiasm for science, and promote science as a fun and important part of everyday life in the lead up to National Science Week 2012. With this in mind, classes are encouraged to be as creative and entertaining as possible; the more creative and entertaining the clip, the better your chances of winning.
There are separate competitions running for Primary and Secondary schools, so be sure to apply for the right competition. We encourage you to read the 'Competition Rules and Guidelines' carefully. In addition, you will also find a copy of ECU's Media Release Forms.
