Team effort and hard work contributed to the school's top ERA ranking.
In the recently released Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) 2012 National Report, the School of Nursing and Midwifery achieved a ranking of 5. - "The Unit of Evaluation profile is characterised by evidence of outstanding performance well above world standard presented by the suite of indicators used for evaluation."
This is the highest possible score, improves on the score of 4 in the last evaluation and covers the period from 2005/2008 - 2010. We are the only nursing and midwifery school in WA to achieve such a result, and 1 of 7 nationally.
According to Professor Di Twigg, Head of School, "this is the result of a team effort and reflects the hard work of the School staff. A great result!"
