Journals

The ECU Security Research Institute runs two journals, the Journal of Information Warfare and the Journal of Network Forensics. All articles published in the journals are blind peer reviewed. We aim to publish suitable articles within six months of receipt or the next available issue for a particular journal, to provide contemporary research within the ever-fluxing subject areas within which journals topics are domiciled.

This journal is now in its seventh year of production and deals with the concepts and application of information warfare. In this journal topics covered include but are not limited to the forensic acquisition of network data, forensic analysis of network data and devices, the use of network artifices such as honeypots as a forensic network countermeasure.
