Successful workshop conducted on eAgriculture with Indian and Australian scientists

Dr Leisa Armstrong and other members of the eAgriculture research group have organized a very successful conference workshop as part of the PAKDD conference in Hyderabad, India in July. The workshop has participants from Indian and Australian agricultural agencies and universities. Participants also came from more than 5 countries. The workshop discussed a number of interesting topics related data mining of agricultural information, environmental sensor networks and other eAgriculture topics. Participants from the workshop have now initiated some collaborative research projects with the eAgriculture research group.
