ParkC and Perth Pathology win an ECU-Industry Collaborative Scheme Award
Friday, 10 June 2011
Exploring the genetic contribution to Parkinson's is an area of intense research. As the first step in establishing the genomic profile of people with Parkinson’s in WA, ParkC has joined forces with Perth Pathology.
Perth Pathology is proudly WA owned and based and has some 30 collection centres around the Perth metro area. Participants in ParkC's "subtypes of Parkinson's" research project will have the opportunity to attend a Perth Pathology collection centre where they can donate a blood sample. This sample will then be use by ParkC for DNA analysis.
