2D barcodes

The aim of this research project is to store digital contents such as multimedia as a barcode, which can then be printed on paper. The digital contents can subsequently be retrieved into an electronic form by taking a snapshot of the barcode with a mobile phone camera.

This project involves the design of a barcode that can not only store a great amount of data within a confined space but also to operate within the limitation of a camera phone and in an unconstrained mobile environment.
