We have provided these student research journeys as a guide to the various stages in a degree by research.
The journeys are divided into two categories: Honours and postgraduate. They cover the progress of a research degree from applying to enrol through to graduation.
Honours research journey
An Honours degree is the fourth year of study at undergraduate level, which usually includes coursework units and a research thesis or project.
Typically, you must be invited in order to participate in an Honours program. Invitations are sent to those students with a course average of 70% or higher and depending on the availability of the supervisor.
Postgraduate research journey
Postgraduate research degrees include the Masters by Research, PhD and Professional Doctorate.
If you have already completed a Bachelors or higher level undergraduate degree, or have at least five years professional experience, you may be eligible to participate in postgraduate research.
