Preparing for thesis examination
Before your thesis is examined, you should:
- ensure that your examiners have been contacted ahead of time to determine their availability;
- submit a Nomination of Examiners form to the School Honours Coordinator at least four weeks prior to the submission of your thesis; (Note that Honours students require two examiners (the Faculty prefers at least one to be external to the University);
- ensure the formatting of your thesis complies with the University’s Rules; and
- provide one copy per examiner.
Once your thesis has been examined, any corrections that have been made should be approved by your supervisor.
