Each year, we congratulate our high achieving students with prizes and awards in order to help them reach their potential through extended learning.
Faculty prizes
Dean’s Prize
This is awarded to the most outstanding scholar in a Faculty of Education and Arts postgraduate coursework program. The award is selected based on academic excellence, performance excellence and engagement with the community.
Faculty Medal
The Faculty Medal is awarded to a graduating student each year for outstanding achievements in an undergraduate course offered by the Faculty of Education and Arts.
Faculty Research Medal
The Faculty Research Medal is the faculty's most prestigious research prize, this is awarded to a research higher degree, master or doctoral graduate who has completed a research thesis of the highest quality.
Letters of Commendation
At the end of each semester Letters of Commendation are sent to high achieving students who are:
- enrolled in 45 credit points (F/T) or more with 2 or more HD or HD & PH grades in that semester; or
- enrolled in less than 45 credit points (P/T) with 1 or more HD or PH grade in that semester.
